Archaeology
Is the examination of earlier cultures and life ways by anthropologists who train in the analysis, scientific recovery and interpretation of the material remains of past civilization groups. Archaeologists collect facts from structures and artifacts that have been left behind from past civilization , they believe that evidence surviving from human occupation reflects important facts of the culture that has created them. When archeologist excavate a site they do this to gather information about human behavior . Archeological techniques are used to identify and excavate not only remains of human cities and settlements but also sites that contain remains of extinct species. Much of Humanity history Has occurred In prehistoric cultures which has left no written records therefore we use Archaeology to help us view and gather information
