Linguistic Anthropology
This is the study of human speech and language and where it all came from. Linguists have observed the alikeness in contemporary languages, this has allowed linguists to find historical connections with single and groups of languages. Each language has its own unique grammar and rules for how to order words. This has also helped to create language families and identify past-relationships with human populations. It also examines how language builds communication, creates social identity and group memberships, organizes cultural beliefs and ideologies, and establishes cultural representation of natural and social worlds.
